Jilia Dye

Producer

Julia Dye, Ph.D., works as the Vice President and CFO of Warriors, Inc., the entertainment business’s premiere military advising company. She is also the Editor in Chief of Warriors Publishing Group. On occasion, as the project warrants, she also acts as a unit commander.

She began with Warriors on the film Starship Troopers, participating in Captain Dye's first co-ed extended boot camp in Hell's Half Acre, Wyoming, eventually commanding her own platoon. Projects since then include Rough Riders, Terminator 2:3D, Star Trek: The Adventure, Wag the Dog, and the Medal of Honor series for Electronic Arts. She is affiliated with the Los Angeles Fight Academy and the Society of American Fight Directors and was Weapons Master on Alexander with Oliver Stone.

She served as Adjutant on the maxi-series The Pacific for HBO, and is currently directing a documentary about Marine Corps Combat Correspondents.

Kim Miller

Kim Miller is a Writer, Producer, Creative Director, and Vice President of Bottled Lightning Films where she brings over 30 Years of Business Management and Marketing experience to her role as Chief Operating Officer at BLF.

In addition to the Creative work she contributes to the company, Kim is also an Independent Producer and Author who has many projects in active development; including the Family-Friendly Comedy Series, “Trapper and the Clouds”, her Children’s Book Series, “Grace’s Girls” and is working on her personal autobiography, My Indigo Road which details her journey from being a brutally abused teen mother to Hollywood Filmmaker.

Kim also donates her time and advocacy to women in abuse situations and conducts many speaking engagements with local churches and centers about the need for more awareness and assistance with women and families involved in domestic abuse situations and crisis pregnancy issues.

Dale Dye

DALE DYE served in Vietnam with the United States Marine Corps for three tours, surviving 31 major combat operations. Highly decorated, including three Purple Hearts for wounds suffered in combat, he spent 13 years as an enlisted Marine, rising to the rank of Master Sergeant before he was chosen to attend Officer Candidate School. Appointed a Warrant Officer in 1976, he later converted his commission and was a Captain when he was sent to Beirut with the Multinational Peacekeeping Force in 1982-83.

After retiring from the Marine Corps, Dye founded WARRIORS, INC., the leading military consultancy to motion pictures and television and his firm has worked on more than 50 films and TV shows including several Academy Award and Emmy winning productions such as Saving Private Ryan and Band of Brothers. He is also a consummate character actor with appearances in many films and television productions. In addition, he has written seven novels, including the critically acclaimed “Shake Davis” series. He is currently in pre-production on his feature-film directorial debut, No Better Place to Die

Pilot Synopsis

The past and future collide when Nazi scientists Wolfgang and his fraternal twin, Klaus von Steiger, test their wonder weapon for the first time. In a twisted perversion of Tesla’s technology, they will use the directed energy to shoot down Allied bombers before they can reach the Fatherland. Wolfgang is a committed follower of Hitler and a proud member of the SS; Klaus has no love for the Third Reich, but does love Victoria, the Jewish scientist forced to work in his lab. Klaus knows if they want to survive the war, they had better just keep following orders. What he doesn’t know is that Victoria is a saboteur and a deadly member of the French Resistance, sent to destroy the weapon and kill all those who could rebuild it. When Wolfgang throws the switch, Victoria’s plan begins a chain reaction of unintended consequences. In a brilliant explosion of light and energy, the weapon is destroyed, tearing a rift in the fabric of time and space.

Inside the control room, Wolfgang stands in front of the control console. In, the center of the equipment is a new invention of the day. A small black and white RCA picture tube, it glows brightly as it starts receiving television signals of a newscast from the future. The slick graphics detail the exact time, date and place of the opening on the other side of the rift over 70 years into the future. Wolfgang doesn’t know how it happened or what caused it, but he is sure of one thing. With his machine destroyed, Klaus and he would soon be in front of a firing squad, but Wolfgang would turn this disaster into triumph. All he needs is the film from the test plane’s gun camera, and Klaus will have that soon. Wolfgang will have the proof that he is a master of time itself

Wolfgang’s triumph, however, will be short-lived, as a mortar round fired by the French Resistance makes a direct hit on the control room. Wolfgang disappears into a ball of flame and debris, presumed dead in the explosion. But Klaus survives, having in his possession the only proof of what truly happened, a secret Klaus keeps until he is captured by the Allies at the end of the war. Under the highest security, he finds himself in a room with President Truman, Winston Churchill, and General Eisenhower showing the footage from the future shot by the gun camera. Faced with irrefutable evidence of what lies ahead, they create Operation Guardian. Its existence becomes the greatest secret of the Cold War. The mission is clear: stop anyone from going through the rift, and if that fails, be prepared to follow the enemy into the past.

n the future, the other side of the rift opens. Waiting there is Wolfgang, who is very much alive and at his side are the Neo-Nazis of the 21st century. For over 70 years, they have been in the shadows, and now they strike, disappearing through the rift to save the Third Reich.

Faced with an impossible decision, the newly elected President Gabriel Balasz orders the Guardian Task Force into the past. He follows the young men and women of the 21st century knowing they will all be trapped over 70 years in the past, with no hope of ever returning to the present they know.

The world and history are forever reset, as the Alpha Timeline begins. Hitler is at the height of his power and America is at her weakest. This is where our four remaining main characters join the story. Professor Olivia Stanton and Lieutenant David Cohen had volunteered to go back in time. For Olivia, it was to shape the brave new world that would come after the war. For Cohen, a Jewish kid from Texas, killing Nazis sounded like the adventure of a lifetime. Major John Price and Commander Steven Jefferson are a different matter entirely. For Price, it was simple; he was running away from another shattered marriage on the way to divorce court. He just wanted to melt into the mission, where it really didn’t matter. For Jefferson, it was tragic. He and his attack submarine were not a part of the plan. He and his crew are unprepared for the world that is outside their pressure hull.

Unfortunately for our heroes, Wolfgang has had a head start, and he takes full advantage. Striking behind both British and Russian lines, Churchill and Stalin were sitting ducks, just waiting to be picked off. The fate of the new world would be set in the next 72 hours. The Americans of the 1940s would have been no match for the new Germany, but the Americans from the 21st century were battle tested, and they were now raining destruction across the Third Reich. Brody, was from a large Greek family in Queens, he wasn’t the hometown hero, like his best friend Cohen; he was the neighborhood con artist. He made it just in time to see the first plane hit, destroying the floor where he and his brothers worked. After their loss, he joined the Navy payback, and became SEAL. Timeline Alpha is an epic series with endless storytelling possibilities. Our heroes’ lives are filled with the internal and external pressure of a world at war. Death is always near, ready to reach out and take them off the board, and the emotional struggle of coming to terms with the trauma of the loss of everything they know, everything they remember, and the loss of all the people that made them complete.

Our villains are relentless in their pursuit of nuclear weapons, pushing the world closer and closer to Mutually Assured Destruction. It is the constant dread that underpins each season; who will get a working weapon first, the Nazis or the Allies? All of it encapsulated in the deadly chess game between the von Steiger brothers. The events in the pilot episode are foreshadowing what will take place in the last few moments in the series finale, 100 episodes in the future. Historical figures from our collective past will come alive. The audience will see them as they really were; more importantly, see how they deal with not only the technologies of the future, but the values of the culture that perfected them.

The stage is set, and our adventure will play out across the globe. Good will always triumph over evil in the end. There can be no other satisfactory outcome for a show like ours. But the path to that victory is going to be a brutal struggle. As, the fortunes of war change, so does the battlefield; victory and defeat hang in the balance. German Scientist

Born May 26, 1920

He is the fraternal twin brother of Wolfgang von Steiger, quite happy to be in the shadow of his older brother. He is a brilliant scientist caught in the Nazi war machine. His love for Victoria blinded him from the truth of who she really was, and because of it, his brother disappeared in a ball of flames. Returning from the future with weapons more powerful than he could imagine, he will do whatever he has to do to stop the new Third Reich.

Born March 10, 1919

She is a French Jew, whose skill as a scientist has kept her from the concentration camps, a fate Wolfgang made sure he family would not escape. Once a pacifist, she is now a leader in the French Resistance, which has earned her the nickname, The Bloody Widow.

Series Setting

The action is set in a world at war where a new battle will rage from Roosevelt’s Oval Office to Winston Churchill’s underground bunker, across Nazi-occupied Europe to the very heart of Hitler’s Reich. From the brutal struggle for air supremacy in the skies over Europe, where the difference between life and death is measured in airspeed and cunning, to the deep waters of the war of the Atlantic where silence, nerves of steel and stealth mean your sub lives to fight another day. Behind it all lies the dark and deadly world of espionage and special operations, where failure is not an option.

Underneath all this tension is a world on fire, full of danger and peril, not only in terms of life and death, but even more compelling is the inner turmoil of our characters from the future. They must come to terms with a world that they recognize but that is worlds away from what they know. All this is further complicated by the American people of 1942, who must be dragged into a world of twenty-first century technology, and a new age of equality they are not ready for. Words and contemporary notions of social justice and equal rights take a back seat to a world where the horrors of modern warfare are in the hands of Adolf Hitler.

In America, the home front embraces the new arrivals as, “America’s Future Men and Great Defenders of Democracy” newsreels, movies, and War Bond rallies where our characters and the cream of 40‘s Hollywood royalty mix and mingle at the famous Hollywood Canteen on Cahuenga Blvd., making our heroes as well-known as John Wayne and Betty Grable.

Even though the newsreels warn the public not to ask about the future, they all want answers, but those who know the answers are under strict orders never to talk about it in detail. The secrecy is intended to preserve the natural flow of history, but as the show moves forward, it will cause mistrust inside America’s halls of power creating enemies within.

Timeline Alpha is an Event Series. An epic Sci-fi adventure about what happens when a Nazi weapons experiment goes horribly wrong and opens a rift in time between 1942 and the present Through that rift, both the Nazis and the Americans receive a Task Force full of modern military technology. Timeline Alpha turns the time travel story we all know and love on its head, the one where our heroes save the day and restore time as we remember it. But in our epic, the rift closes, trapping everyone from the future into the past, rebooting the twentieth century, forcing America’s Greatest Generation and their great grandchildren to overcome their cultural differences and free Europe from the iron grip of Nazi Germany. A desperate struggle begins as the brutality of World War II meets the shock and awe of modern warfare with the unrelenting pace of 24 and all the raw emotional combat of Band of Brothers. Underlying all the drama and excitement in TIMELINE ALPHA is an uncompromising, dark and ruthless villain even more dangerous than Adolf Hitler.
